And in this chart book, which is completely done in color visually very appealing , both the Old and New Testaments are covered, including maps and reconstructions of historically significant times and places. I am planning to lead a trip to the Holy Land this summer, and I'll probably have this book with me when we tour the places reconstructed here. The wire spine is appreciated because it makes it easier to turn the pages and lay the pages flat when making overheads. All in all this book is a "quality" production, and I can only say "well done! It can be read alone or as part of a Bible reading plan. This is more than a simple atlas, it stands alone in its completeness and unsurpassed maps, diagrams and illustrations. It contains what you would expect from a first class atlas; maps of all the classic routes, Exodus, Babylon, Jesus' and Paul footsteps.

Average Customer Review: 4. I recommend both, but if you must choose, go with the Rose Book. The Holman book is not, according to the copyright page on each book. Both books are the same size and number of pages and have much of the same content see details below. But the Rose book is more attractive with better color, photos, charts, illustrations, and overall graphic design.
As you may know, I really do like a good resource that helps to put the Word of God into perspective and give me a new appreciation for Him. So, this review will be based off of the digital content only. If I get my hands on a physical copy, I will then do an updated review an include information of how well it is made and how it physically looks.
